Addie and her Sweet Potato Pie Story Addie's Sweet Potato Pie came from The Spirit guiding her in baking a pie filled with the love she felt for her family and her home in Greenville, Mississippi. In 2005, Addie was diagnosed with stomach cancer. She had difficulty eating and digesting sugar. Whether made with white sugar or organic sugar, Addie could eat her sweet potato pie without feeling the repercussions of sickness. Addie feels her sweet potato pie is a true blessing in providing her with a healthy dessert alternative rich in cancer fighting nutrients like vitamin A, vitamin C and beta-carotene. "This pie is truly a blessing to me. So eat it. Enjoy it. And may the Spirit of the Universe continue to bless you and your health."- Addie Simon |
